As I sit here writing this introduction for this travel blog, I cannot help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. After all, starting a new journey is always accompanied by a mix of emotions. However, I am confident that this journey will be worth all the confusion that’s led up to this point.
For the past 20+ years, I have pondered my existence. Why am here? What purpose do I serve? It was just recently the answer was revealed, when doing some intense soul searching and questioning.
So after looking at my answers over and over, it suddenly became very obvious. Why not start a travel and food blog? Why not use your creativity to not only serve the hospitality industry, but serve the communities that make them thrive? It made total sense!
So here I am. Finding my joy in things that I had long forgotten (or maybe didn’t even know existed) – writing, travel, food, and servitude.
My goal for this blog is simple – to share my travel experiences with the world. But it’s also much more than that. I want to celebrate the people I encounter along the way and help the communities that I visit. I believe travel is not just about sightseeing and taking pictures. It is about connecting with people, learning about their traditions, and understanding their way of life.
I realize this journey is not just about my personal growth, but it’s also about making a positive impact in the world. As a traveler, I have a responsibility to respect the places I visit and the people that I meet. I want to use this platform to promote sustainable tourism and to support local businesses and communities.
I am excited to share my experiences with you all and to hopefully inspire you to travel and learn to connect. Starting this travel blog is a new chapter in my life, and I am ready to embrace it with open arms. I hope through my writing, I can transport you to different parts of the world and introduce you to the amazing people and cultures I encounter along the way. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope you stick around for the ride. To learn more, check out our About Us page.
